Dr. Grenfell had a strong presence, not only in St Anthony, but throughout the entire peninsula and along the coast of Labrador. With this in mind, the Grenfell Historical Society has tried to ensure that all events associated with Dr. Grenfell has a focus which extends to Northern Newfoundland and Labrador in an effort to keep his legacy alive. It is the responsibility of the entire region to help keep his legacy, and this important part of the regions’ history alive.
