Grenfell Ride - Where's the Snow?

Due to lack of snow, the Grenfell Ride had to be cancelled for this year. However, March 20, 2010 will still be a day to get out and support the Grenfell Historical Society and have some fun. We will still be having our breakfast at the Centre and other events will be posted soon. Come down and enjoy a fun filled day!

Membership
Operated by the Sir Wilfred Thomason Grenfell Historical Society.
A not-for-profit, registered Canadian Charity.

Sir Wilfred Thomason GrenfellDr. Grenfell had a strong presence not only in St. Anthony, but throughout the entire peninsula and along the coast of Labrador. With this in mind, the Grenfell Historical Society has tried in many ways to ensue that all events associated with Dr. Grenfell have a focus which extends to Northern Newfoundland and Labrador. This is especially true with such events as the Grenfell Ride and the grand opening of the Grenfell Interpretation Centre.

Equally, it is the responsibility of the entire region to ensure that the Grenfell Historical Society is a perfect way to do this. Once a membership is purchased, members have free access to the Grenfell Historic Properties, are eligible to become members of the board of the Grenfell Historical Society, get special rates at Grenfell legacy events, and they get to share in the celebration of the Grenfell legacy.

The Grenfell Historic Properties is our responsibility to maintain and support. The celebration of the Grenfell legacy can only continue with the endorsement of the people of Northern Newfoundland and Labrador, the very same people who make up the Grenfell legacy.
